Pottery Workshop: Mugs
Featuring Tiptoe Art Studio
The Kids Patch is hosting a pottery workshop! All supplies will be provided, come for a fun evening from 6-8 pm on February 4th. Join us each month for a new project, the workshops will be on the first Wednesday of every month. You can choose which months to come! Pay once for both sessions.
This is a two part workshop, part 1 will consist of making the mugs out of ceramic clay. Part 2 we will be painting, or glazing the mugs.
$60/person for a two part class.
On February 4th we will get creative as we design and make a one of a kind mug out of clay! There will be examples to get inspiration from. The mugs will be fired in a kiln to prepare them for glazing (glazing is the process of painting the ceramics so they will have a smooth, protective surface). Then the next time you come we will glaze the mugs to give them a finished look, using a variety of colors that will be provided. After the second class the mugs will again be fired so they will have the beautiful, smooth surface you see on pottery and ceramics.
After the pieces are complete they will be ready within 2 weeks!
Pick-Up Pottery: You will get a call or text when the pottery is ready for pick up at The Kids Patch.

Please give 3 days notice of cancellations for a full refund. If you cancel within 3 days of the class you may receive a partial refund.
