Bright Beginnings is a fun, relaxed watercolor class designed for homeschooled children to explore color, texture, and creative expression. Through simple, playful projects and step-by-step demonstrations, students learn basic watercolor techniques (wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, blending, layering), color mixing, brush care, and composition while building confidence and artistic vocabulary.
What students will do:
- Try hands-on exercises to practice washes, gradients, and simple textures
- Paint themed projects (landscapes, animals, plants, and imaginative scenes)
- Learn to mix colors and create value with water control
- Share work and receive gentle, encouraging feedback
Who it’s for:
- Ages 6–16
- Beginners welcome; no prior experience needed
